String Tension App

The String Tension App calculates the tension in a set of guitar strings. The app provides a way for you to enter the guitar scale length, the tuning used, and the type of strings. If you like to experiment with alternate tunings, including tuning up or tuning down your guitar, use this app to determine the increase or decrease of tension on your guitar. If you increase the tension too much, you risk serious damage to your instrument.
