Guitar Web App

The Guitar Web App web-based application is for guitarists and songwriters who want to know how guitar chords are created and how chords relate to each other.

Use this application to answer questions such as:

"What chords are in the key of G Major?"

"What chord can I substitute for an F6 Chord?"

"What chords contain the notes C, E, G, and A?"

"What fingerings do I use to play an F7 chord when I have a capo at the 5th fret?"

All of the chord charts in this application were tested to make certain they are accurate and playable. The chord charts were then combined to show multiple fingerings for a chord conveniently on one screen.

The simple, menu-driven interface organizes chords by the root note of the chords and by key signatures. In addition, a note search engine provides the ability to find chords that contain specific notes. This is a handy feature for figuring out chords for sheet music that does not provide guitar chords.

The Guitar Web App is also available on the iPhone App Store:
